To ensure continuity and consistency of care, both Yarrow Valley Care and Tawd Valley Care operate with the same approach, standards and package pricing. This collaborative structure means that, should one of us need to provide cover for the other, our clients can be assured that the same high standards of care, consistency and agreed pricing will be maintained.
Basic Care Package
Designed for individuals who benefit from gentle prompting, reassurance and companionship, but who do not require assistance with personal care.
This package provides supportive companionship alongside practical help with daily routines, preparing meals and drinks, and meaningful social interaction. Our aim is to promote independence, wellbeing and confidence, while helping individuals feel safe, comfortable and supported in their own home.
Standard Care Packages
Suitable for individuals who require some physical assistance with mobility, dressing, washing or toileting, while still being able to maintain a good level of independence.
This package is tailored to provide the right level of support with everyday personal care, while encouraging individuals to remain as independent and involved in their own care as possible.
Advanced Care Packages
Designed for individuals with reduced mobility or more complex care needs, including support with continence care, catheter or stoma care.
This package provides comprehensive support with personal care, mobility, hygiene and maintaining a safe home environment. All care is delivered with professionalism, dignity and compassion, while promoting comfort, independence and respect at all times.
Social Packages
Designed for individuals who would benefit from companionship, social interaction and support to remain engaged with the wider community.
This package can include coffee shop visits, shopping trips, days out or local activities, walks, hobbies and other community-based experiences. Support is tailored to the individual’s interests and preferences, with the aim of promoting independence, confidence, wellbeing and enjoyment while helping them stay connected to the people and places around them.
Welfare Visits
Ideal for individuals who would benefit from regular check-ins, companionship, reassurance and a familiar face throughout the week.
Visits can be tailored to the individual and may include a friendly chat, checking wellbeing, preparing a drink or light meal, prompting with daily routines, or simply providing reassurance and social interaction.
This package also offers peace of mind for family members, knowing that someone trusted is regularly checking in, observing any changes in wellbeing and communicating relevant concerns where appropriate. Helping to provide continuity and ensure the individual remains safe, comfortable and supported in their own home.
As we coordinate our services, we may be able to offer two person care, social or welfare packages, depending on availability. Our two-support worker care packages are intentionally discounted compared with two individual bookings. We believe people who require two staff for safe, effective support should not be disproportionately disadvantaged by higher costs.
